Privacy Policy

How ISCI collects and uses personal data submitted through this website.

Our approach

The Institute of Supply Chain Innovation (ISCI) at The University of Hong Kong respects your privacy and handles personal data in accordance with applicable Hong Kong law and the University's privacy practices. This page explains the information collected through the ISCI website, particularly the subscription form.

Information we collect

If you subscribe, we ask for your salutation, first and last name, email address, organisation and position. You provide this information voluntarily. The form records the language and page used for the submission, as well as the time you give consent.

How we use it

We use the information to manage your subscription and send ISCI news, newsletters, event announcements and invitations. Subscription details are stored in this website's WordPress database; the form does not connect to an external mailing platform.

Access and protection

Access to subscription records is restricted to authorised website administrators. We take reasonable steps to protect the information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. We retain it only for as long as needed for the stated purpose, subject to applicable University requirements.

Your choices and enquiries

You may ask to access or correct your personal data, or withdraw from future ISCI communications, by emailing supplychain@hku.hk. Other ISCI activities or forms may provide a separate personal information collection statement at the point of collection.

For the University-wide policy, see The University of Hong Kong Privacy Policy.
